At no upfront cost for customers, Centennial partners with businesses for the long-term by financing, installing and operating a solar photovoltaic (“PV”) project at the customer’s facility.  Instead of selling equipment to customers, Centennial sells the power at a rate that saves customers on operating expenses and generates attractive returns for investors.

Representative projects are highlighted below.

For more information, please see attached for the press release here: https://www.aegistrust.org/kigali-genocide-memorial-goes-solar/:

“The Kigali Genocide Memorial is a historic place and will continue to be so for many generations to come,” said Honore Gatera, Manager of the Kigali Genocide Memorial. “We are working hard to ensure that the memorial is sustainable, both financially and environmentally. Through our partnership with Centennial, the memorial is a going green. Instead of requiring upfront capital, Centennial is selling us the electricity generated by the solar system at a discount compared to our current power costs. This will allow us to dedicate more funds to our remembrance and peace education programs.”

The Rwanda Zambia HIV Research Group ("Project San Francisco") has been a global leader in the fight against HIV/AIDS since 1986, supporting prevention programs and research from its base at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and at its sites in Kigali, Rwanda and Ndola and Lusaka, Zambia.

Project San Francisco has pioneered approaches to delivering HIV counseling and testing services to couples.  The organization has offered voluntary counseling and testing ("CVCT") services to more than 17,000 Rwandan couples since 1988 and has been funded to conduct operational research to expend CVCT throughout Rwanda.

The solar project, which will be expanded later in 2017, reduces power costs for the organization and provides more reliable power supply.
